Single Purpose Declaration: The PureMerch extension has a single, focused purpose: to provide Merch by Amazon content creators with a high-performance sales dashboard, product catalog manager, listing assistant, trademark scanner, and keyword research tools directly integrated within their Amazon Merch seller portal.

🔒 Privacy Guarantee: All Amazon Merch sales figures, product catalog data, listing text drafts, and keyword research remain 100% local to your browser. PureMerch does not collect, record, or upload your sales or seller data to any external server.

2 Extension Permissions & Justifications

  • The extension reads HTML elements from your Amazon Merch portal (merch.amazon.com) to display sales cards, BSR figures, earnings charts, and product tables.
  • This data is processed entirely in local memory within your browser. It is never transmitted to, collected by, or stored on PureMerch servers or any third-party infrastructure.

User Activity & Analytics:

  • PureMerch does NOT log mouse clicks, scroll behavior, keystrokes, or page interactions outside of input fields explicitly filled by the user.
  • PureMerch does NOT use Google Analytics, tracking pixels, or user behavior tracking software within the extension.

Web History & Browsing Data:

  • PureMerch does NOT collect, inspect, monitor, or transmit your browser history or activity on non-Amazon websites.

4 Third-Party AI & Translation Services (ChatGPT, Gemini, Claude, DeepL)

PureMerch integrates optional AI features allowing users to save shirt designs and request AI recommendations, listing optimization, or sub-niche ideas directly from third-party AI providers (OpenAI ChatGPT, Google Gemini, Anthropic Claude) or translate copy via DeepL. Below is a complete disclosure of how each service operates:

Zero listing text is logged by PureMerch.

5 Data Storage & Local Security

PureMerch uses a local-first architecture for all extension data:

  • Sales history caches, catalog metadata, custom trademark blacklists, and settings are stored locally in Chrome's storage API (chrome.storage.local / chrome.storage.sync).
  • You can delete all stored extension data at any time by uninstalling the extension or clearing extension storage in Chrome (chrome://extensions).

6 Data Sharing & Non-Disclosure

🚫 GUARANTEED: We do NOT sell, rent, trade, or transfer any user data, personal information, sales records, or website content to third parties, advertisers, data brokers, or credit reporting agencies under any circumstances.

In accordance with Chrome Web Store Developer Program Policies, we explicitly certify that:

When you register for an account or purchase a PRO license key on https://puremerch.app, we collect:

  • Email Address: Used for account login, password resets, and license delivery.
  • Password: Stored strictly as a secure bcrypt hash (never in plain text).
  • License & Device Validation: When activating a PRO key in the extension, an anonymous browser-generated device token is verified against our server to enforce license device limits.
  • Hosting Infrastructure: The website platform (https://puremerch.app) is hosted on secure web servers provided by Namecheap. Infrastructure processing handles standard web requests under strict data processing standards.
  • Payment Information: Payments are processed securely via PayPal or Stripe. PureMerch never sees or stores full credit card numbers or financial account credentials.

8 Your Rights & Account Deletion

You have full ownership and control over your personal data and account:

  • Instant Self-Service Account Deletion: You can permanently delete your PureMerch account, active license keys, registered device tokens, and all associated account records instantly at any time directly within your user dashboard (dashboard.php) by confirming your account password under Account Settings.
  • Manual Deletion Request: Alternatively, you may request manual deletion of your website account and license data by contacting our support team at contact@puremerch.app, support@puremerch.app, or privacy@puremerch.app. All account records will be permanently purged within 7 business days.
  • Extension Local Data Removal: Uninstalling the PureMerch Chrome extension instantly removes all local storage data, saved settings, and cached metrics from your local browser storage.

9 Security Measures

We maintain comprehensive security protocols to protect your information:

  • All communications between your browser, our website, and external APIs use HTTPS / TLS 1.3 encryption.
  • Passwords are cryptographically salted and hashed using bcrypt.
  • Website interactions are protected with anti-CSRF security tokens and prepared SQL statements.
  • Security response headers (X-Frame-Options, Content-Security-Policy, X-Content-Type-Options) are enforced across the platform.
